Questions people ask
Is the plan free?
Yes. The AI floor plan, changing it by hand, the 3D view and the share link cost nothing. You pay only if you want the dimensioned PDF sheet or a designer to finish the plan.
Does it follow setbacks and UDCPR?
You enter your plot's setbacks and the plan keeps inside them. HousePlanAI does not check the UDCPR or your local authority's rules itself: what you receive is a design drawing, and anything you submit for sanction must be checked and signed by a licensed architect or engineer.
Can I get it in Marathi?
The planner is in English today. If you have a designer finish your plan, they answer on WhatsApp in Marathi, Hindi or English.
What plot sizes work?
Any rectangular plot — 20×30, 25×40, 30×40, 30×50, 40×60 and everything in between, in feet or metres. Narrow row plots and plots with a car bay work too.
Can I change the plan myself?
Yes. Walls, doors, windows, room names and furniture can all be changed by hand in the editor, and every change can be undone.
